How to identify your body shape

Knowing your personal body shape can be helpful for choosing the right clothing that will compliment your best features and improve the parts you're not so keen on. It’s easy to determine your body type with nothing more than a mirror and your beautiful self standing in front of it. This is best done in just your underwear so that you can clearly see your shape, also try and make sure your mirror is not too far tilted backward so that you are getting a realistic ( proportioned ) view of yourself. If you have a floor standing mirror try propping it up on something to allow you to stay far enough away without it pointing at the ceiling and thus making your feet look big and your head small.

Remember, you don't have to fit 100% into these five shapes, there are variables at play here like the fact that there are over 7.59 billion humans on this planet and none of us are the same ( which is a great thing) as well as the obvious facts like we are all made differently as far as our skin, fat, height, water retention, the list goes on. The important part is to try and look at your frame underneath all those things and pick out the main features like your shoulders, tummy, waist, hips, bottom, thighs etc.
Armed with this information you are already far better equipped to make an informed desertion on what shape range to shop in. Simple!
